2nd Annual Musical Swap Meet

Sat 20th May from 10am – 4pm.

As part of the Shuswap Culture Crawl, the 2nd Annual Musical Swap Meet (& BBQ) will be taking place on the May Long Weekend at the Sunnybrae Hall.

This is a great opportunity to buy/sell/trade/swap your musical instruments, gear, sheet music and the like.

Admission proceeds will be in support of the Foodbank.

We hope to see you there!

Upcoming Events! April – May 2017

Good day everyone!

With Spring now in full swing we have a whole bunch of upcoming events to keep you busy. As each event comes along we will be posting more information on both this website and our Facebook Page: Sunnybrae Community Asssociation. Stay tuned!

  • Tonight: SCA Anuual General Meeting, 730pm 
  • Saturday 29th  April: Sunnybrae Community Litter Pickup, 11am to 2pm (please see Facebook Page: Sunnybrae Community Association) for details.
  • Sat 13th May: SCA Spring Clean-up
  • Sat 13th May: Last Sunnybrae Coffeehouse of the Season! Doors at 6:30pm
  • Friday 19th May: Chicken-Like Birds, live at the Sunnybrae Hall! Doors 7pm
  • Saturday 20th May: 2nd Annual Music Swap Meet at the Sunnybrae Hall, 10am – 4pm
  • Saturday 20th May: Sons of Bitumen, live at the Sunnybrae Hall! Doors 7pm

Area C Governance Study Committee

Some information about the Area C Governance Study Committee regarding the open house events taking place in May and June.
 
Open House Times and Format
 
The Open Houses will take place from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm.
 
This is a drop-in format with display boards, and with committee members, consultants and CSRD staff on hand to answer questions. Starting at 6:00 pm (until approximately 7:15 pm), we will also host discussion break out groups (2 or 3 facilitated groups) addressing key questions. This format will allow those interested in sitting in on a specific group discussion to do so, and others to drift in and out and to view display boards at their leisure. If we have a very large attendance that is not suitable for small break out group discussion, the we will shift into more of a large group presentation with a Q & A at the end. Key questions are currently being developed.
